Dr. Dilip D. K. is a dedicated and accomplished Surgical Gastroenterologist with extensive expertise across Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB), Colorectal, Gastrointestinal Oncosurgery, and Advanced Laparoscopic procedures.
He earned his MBBS from Raichur Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Raichur, and completed his MS in General Surgery from SSIMS, Davangere. He subsequently served as Senior Resident and Assistant Professor in the Department of General Surgery at JSS Hospital, Mysuru, for four years, where he made significant contributions to both clinical practice and academic training.
To further his specialization, Dr. Dilip pursued a DrNB in Surgical Gastroenterology from the prestigious Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), Secunderabad — a renowned center for complex GI, HPB, and transplant surgery.
He has received comprehensive training in complex gastrointestinal and hepatopancreatic surgeries, GI cancer resections, colorectal surgery, advanced minimally invasive and robotic techniques, and has been actively involved in over 120 liver transplant surgeries, including both Deceased Donor (DDLT) and Living Donor Liver Transplants (LDLT).
