- As a postgraduate my duty was to attend to all emergencies at casualty. Providing immediate measures as per ATLS protocols in stabilisation of the patients with knowledge to: involve the consultants at the difficult times.
- Provide good patient care in the wards in terms of clinical examination/assessments and attending to other emergencies in the wards.
- Maintain a detailed and neat clinical records of the patients
- Actively involved in decision making with the consultants.
- Pre assess the patients and sort out any problems before the operation and decide the fitness of the patient for operation.
- Assist the anesthetist and maintain a friendly environment in the operating rooms even at stress.
